How to Cut/Peel a Pineapple

It’s sad to see pineapples go to waste because of the wrong way of peeling. Peeling the pineapple the right way is important because you will be able to enjoy the juiciest part of the fruit. I believe in “save the most that you can” when it comes to fruits and vegetables. Below is a simple way on how to peel a pineapple. Happy Peeling! :)

1. Wash your Pineapple :) and cut the topmost part/ green crown

2. Cut the peel from top to bottom. Make sure to not cut the peel or skin too deep to reserve the tastiest part of the pineapple.

3. Start cutting the pineapple’s eyes diagonally. There are some meat that may go to waste, but if you do not have the time to remove the eyes one by one, this method is more preferable.

4. Voila! You have a beautiful piece of pineapple. You may cut it depending on your preference. Remember, to save the fruit as much as you can to utilize the fruits’ vitamins and nutrients. Enjoy!
